How Taping Techniques Can Benefit You!


Taping techniques, both kinesiology tape and zinc oxide taping, can help to support muscles and joints in and out of activity. Many athletes, both professional and amateur use these techniques before a match, event or training. Here’s how the techniques could benefit you:

Zinc Oxide Taping

An effective and very supportive taping technique, used mainly for short term joint support in sports, for example: rugby, football, hockey etc. A very sturdy technique, in which the tape allows the joint to move in a certain, way to guard against injury.

Kinesiology Taping

Kinesiology taping or kinesio taping is a great way to support joints and muscles and increase blood flow into muscles that may be strained or pulled. Research has proven that joints like the knee and muscles such as the quadriceps benefit highly from this technique, with long lasting results, as there is a great deal of elasticity in the kinesiology tape.
